Book lovers are a special kind of passionate. We treasure the weight of a book in our hands, the feel of paper between our fingers, and the smell of pages that have been read and loved. While e-books and audiobooks are convenient, nothing compares to the tactile experience of a physical book—turning the pages, immersing ourselves in characters’ triumphs and tragedies, and savoring the journey that lies ahead with each chapter.

But as book lovers, we also know that buying new books can be expensive. Libraries are great, but the books we want aren’t always available. Even e-books can be pricey—sometimes more so than their physical counterparts—and they have their own frustrations. We’ve all been stuck in a waiting room, eager to dive into that new book, only to find it’s not downloaded or our battery dies right at a crucial moment.

And then there’s the challenge of unhauling books. Parting with them is hard. We want them to end up with someone who will appreciate them just as much as we did. That’s where (re)read comes in—helping us give our books new homes while discovering new stories for our own shelves. It’s the perfect way to share our love of reading while keeping our libraries fresh and exciting.
